Took long enough, right? I mean he needed to be fired BEFORE last season. Bringing in Brett Farve was never the solution and the constant blowjobery by Childress was just ridiculous. Maybe now they have a shot at winning more games than the Lions.

Brad Childress Fired
November 22, 2010Who’s ready for some middle school backyard football?!
November 20, 2010I am! Due to the hilarious location of one of the end zones, the offenses will only go one way. I’m not joking. I mean I realize that there are a zillion jokes about players hitting the wall but for real? I used to do this in peoples yards because one end zone was way too small for a passing attack. Of course I wasn’t in high school yet. These guys are in college.
At first I thought they would die, but I realized that the Ivy is actually just padding, its not ivy on brick; like how the cubs play. So whats the big deal, I mean they won’t die since it is padded. This would make alot more sense if the wall wasn’t padded, because having kids sprint at a brick wall is insane, but its padded. I remember not being this cautious playing ‘arena’ football in gym class; which is full contact w/o pads and no out of bounds in-case you were interested in playing.
Just play the game!

Thunder beat Celtics
November 20, 2010How did this happen? I mean I know Ray Allen had an off day, but they didn’t have Durant. This should have been a slam dunk!
Yes I just went for that cheap pun!

Not enough of this
The fact is I’m not worried as I drink my green kool-aid. They have been kicking ass, and are probably a little worn down, needed to take it easy for 3 quarters; then figured they could storm back and beat a Durant less Thunder. Well Oppss….. So much for that plan.
This Guy is Hilarious
November 18, 2010Albert Haynesworth and the failure that is the Redskins
November 18, 2010Just look at that fat pile. This guy was highly paid and considered an all star once. I have no idea why since he was never any Warren Sapp at his best. However this is pretty much all the explanation needed for the Redskins as a whole. They hand out money to talented players who then decide that they don’t need to play hard anymore because they already got paid. People typically criticize teams like the Patriots and Steelers for being cheap and praise the Redskins under Snyder for ‘doing things right’. Another example is Donovan McNabb, who while once was probably the best QB in the league is clearly washed up. They had about 8 or 9 games of nothing but evidence of this, then paid the man an absurd amount of money to suck and stay until he is almost 40. I’d give advice but Snyder has already ruined the teams cap for years to come, so unless he can build right on the cheap they are going to be the next decades Detroit Lions.
Dear Big East Commissioner
November 18, 2010I have an idea that might help improve Big East Football, and would avoid raiding other conferences.
The idea is this, invite up Umass, UNH, URI, and Umaine to the Big East for football only, and create 2 divisions in the Big East, The North, consisting of the New England teams and Syracuse, and The South, which would consist of WVU, Louisville, Cincinnati, USF, Rutgers, and Pitt.
Umass and UNH are already able to compete as shown by their games against Pitt and Michigan this season, and your television market would grow by 4 states.
Please consider this.
Sincerely,
2/C Matthew Nordberg
Tiger Woods
December 9, 2009I, like my fellow author, who spends far more time writing the articles than I do, because I am currently still in school, actually like Tiger Woods more now that this scandal has broken. Why you ask? simply because it brings him down to our level, he is one of us after all, and he does make mistakes, and that stuff is cool and all, but what happened to the coverage of his wife being a coke head, and under the influence of cocaine when she attacked him?
Yea, how many people remember that news breaking, she was on cocaine at the time she attacked Tiger Woods with his own golf club? Nobody does, because less than a half hour later, the woman he supposedly had an affair with “came forward” the whole coke-rage story just got swept under the rug.
I’m actually starting to doubt this whole thing though, maybe the “affair” was to cover up the fact that Tiger Woods is a victim of spousal abuse from a coke whore?
France
November 23, 2009If France has any semblance of national pride and/or honor, they will take Ireland up on it’s offer of a rematch to determine the true qualifier for the FIFA world cup. The fans should be rioting in the streets that people around the world are accusing the French of not being able to win without cheating.
I am currently both pumped up and filled with rage, so as I go exorcise my demons, Finish with my screw list:
1. Screw France
2. Screw Tebow and his “illustrious career” that hasn’t happened yet (his career has already been called illustrious).
3. Screw Ohio State
4. Screw Brett Favre
That about does it.
Ohio State vs Michigan
November 19, 2009Yea, Michigan has fallen quite a ways since hiring that dirt bag Rich Rodriguez, but come on, this is The Game, the #1 rivalry in all of sports (as picked by espn). Every year this game carries both fire, and implications in the BCS selection. If Michigan can pull off the upset, they’ll deny Jim Tressel his first trip to the Rose Bowl, and send Iowa instead, and seeing as how I hate the Buckeyes, am a Wolverines fan, and love seeing huge upsets, I’ll basically cream my pants if Michigan pulls it off.
Wolverines over Buckeyes: 20-17
Sorry NFL
November 16, 2009But you might have just lost me as a fan forever.
The officiating in the Pats Colts game was good, until the final 5 minutes, still down by 13 points, when the Colts had everything they needed to win handed to them by the officials.
When the Colts faced 3rd and long, and Bodden cleanly broke up the pass (and it was clean, because Bodden didn’t hold, or make intentional contact before the completion) the Refs called pass interference, and moved the ball 32 yards to the patriots 12, and gave the colts 1st in 10 in the red zone, Colts score.
Patriot’s next possession, and the colts hold the pats on 3rd down, to make it 4th and 2. Patriots go for it, and with forward progress (which is a rule in the NFL to spot the ball at the point of forward progress) would have converted and gotten the first down, but no, the refs spot the ball a yard shy. There was hope however, with a 1:53 on the clock, the spot could be reviewed (like all plays after the 2 minute warning) and even with no timeouts, since Belicheck hadn’t lost a challenge yet, could still challenge the spot, then BAM, commercial break. When returned from commercial break, the game clock had been moved back to 2:00 minutes, so that the spot both wouldn’t be reviewed, and could not be challenged.
And this is far from the first time this has happened to the Patriots, or the Ravens almost every time they play anybody, or really, the non-favorites of the NFL commissioner Roger Goddel, because they don’t have a large enough market, or found a way to beat the whole draft/free agency system designed to keep parity in the Nfl, or don’t felate him on a regualr basis. Whatever the reason is, the Refs play favorites, and as long as the right team wins, Roger Goddel will not stop it.
